Okay! So! It's been a while since I've "launched" this site, and I still haven't even done anything with it yet. What is wrong with me?! This was meant to be a cool new space for people to hang out at!
So it's been such a long time since I've done anything web design related that... I've decided to redo a whole curriculum on it. I seriously don't remember any of this stuff, so more than just a rough crash course is needed. I shall go refresh my memory on all this online website stuff so that I may return with a cool new webzone for us all to hang out at.

Okay so humble beginnings, huh? I used to have a really cool website over on GitHub, but that was about 10 years ago at this point. Oh dear, time really flies, huh? I want to make an even cooler website this time, so let's see if I'll succeed at that.
Great question! The initial idea is to just... talk about video games, and whatever randomness I might come up with that I feel like posting about. I maintain a gaming backlog and have this silly idea that I might one day 100% complete all video games in my collection (wishful thinking), and would like to use this as an outlet to talk about it.
I've used blogging software before, but nothing quite beats making my own site with my own vibe. I'm still rather far away from that of course, but I'm working up to it. This place will feature more than just a colored background with some text on it, you'll see!

The learning platform I am using is freeCodeCamp. Back in the day I used W3Schools, but I'd like to give a different resource a try. But now that I think about it, I might just use both...
